Time slot management at FAMO
The cloud-based time slot management system SLOT is also in use at FAMO Fahrzeug- und Motorenteile. Since the summer, it has been supporting the waiting time-free processing of up to 15 lorries per day in the goods receiving area at the central warehouse in Dresden. Anyone wishing to book a time slot can do so 30 days in advance. Last-minute bookings are possible until 2 p.m. the day before. The booking fee of 50 pence is paid by the company.
FAMO was founded in 1991 and is a nationwide trading company for vehicle and engine parts as well as accessories, tools and workshop equipment. The company employs around 120 people at a total of five locations and advertises a stock availability of more than 50,000 parts.
