Packaging specialist Horna optimizes ramps with SLOT
The medium-sized family business Horna from Grafenrheinfeld has implemented the cloud-based time slot management system SLOT from Cargoclix. This system allows it to process around four trucks daily in the incoming goods department without any waiting times. Service providers wishing to book a time slot can do so with seven days’ notice. Bookings are possible until 1 p.m. the day before. The booking fee of 50 cents per time slot is borne by the logistics service providers themselves.
Horna’s product range includes cardboard boxes, container cartons, inner packaging, and more. The entire product range comprises approximately 19,700 items across more than 20,000 square meters of warehouse space. The company employs approximately 60 people.
