WEVO-Chemie relies on SLOT
The Stuttgart-based company WEVO-Chemie is now using Cargoclix’s cloud-based time slot management solution SLOT to process its approximately 10 trucks per day in incoming and outgoing goods at three of its plants. Anyone wishing to book a time slot can do so with three weeks’ notice. However, spontaneous bookings are also possible. These bookings must be completed by 1 p.m. the day before. The logistics service providers cover the booking fee of 50 cents per time slot.
WEVO specializes in customized encapsulation solutions, adhesives, and sealants based on polyurethane, epoxy, and silicone. These products are primarily used in electrical and electronic components, protecting them from chemicals, vibrations, foreign bodies, dust, moisture, and high temperatures. The company was founded in 1945.
