(Freiburg i.Br., 03.03.2020) The Freiburg software provider Cargoclix has cancelled its participation at LogiMAT 2020. The intralogistics trade fair, which will take place from 10 to 12 March at the Stuttgart trade fair centre, is one of the few major events that has not been cancelled by the organizer.

“In the context of the high risk of infection and the rapid spread of the disease, we consider participation at an international trade fair to be unacceptable. At the present time, it is important to make an active contribution towards restricting the spread of the corona virus. With this refusal we are taking responsibility towards our customers and employees and want to make an active contribution to the better protection of the entire population,” Cargoclix managing partner Prof. Dr. Victor Meier explains the decision.

For the medium-sized software company LogiMAT is one of the central trade fair platforms. The presentation of the further developed time slot management system SLOT was planned. With the cloud-based platform, processes on the ramp can be improved and trucks can be dispatched congestion-free.
Cargoclix also had the fundamentally revised logistics platform TENDER in its trade fair luggage. Using the software, which is also cloud-based, worldwide tenders for contracts for road, rail, airfreight, sea and inland waterway transport, courier express parcel services as well as logistics services can be handled.
