Remmers becomes a TimeSlot customer

Since the beginning of April, Remmers GmbH has been one of the users of the web-based Cargoclix time slot system “TimeSlot”.

Every day, about 15 trucks are handled in the incoming goods department in Löningen by allocation of time slots. Logistics service providers can book a desired time window for the inbound delivery between seven days in advance and by 12 noon on the day before the planned delivery. The length of a time window is automatically calculated depending on the specified number of pallets. The fee of 50 cents per slot is borne by Remmers.

Remmers specializes in the manufacture of construction chemicals, wood paints and varnishes and industrial coatings. The products range from building, wood and floor protection to industrial paint systems. The service portfolio includes individual product applications as well as the complete conception and realization of a construction project or an industrial painting line. Customers include tradesmen, planners, trade organisations and builders. The family-owned company employs around 1,500 highly qualified specialists.
